DIGITAL FINALS for teachers
We want to help you prepare for
“Speak Out” Challenge! Digital Finals
Due to the ongoing disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we will be running some of our Regional Finals digitally this year.
This page has the resources to support you in preparing students for these events. Links below include support for hosting Digital Assembly Finals. There is also a page for students filled with tips for recording their speeches at home.
Digital Final Assembly Final Guidelines - If your school hasn’t been able to select a student to participate in our Digital Final events here is guidance to help you host an assembly final to select your representative.
Judging Form - This is a template to use in judging assembly final speeches. You may want to turn this into a digital document using google forms, survey monkey or the education software preferred by your school. Or, you could use old fashioned pen and paper.
Guidelines for filming your speech - We have put together these tips to help students effectively film their own speeches. This document is also on the For Students page.
Editable Assembly Final Powerpoint - You can add school logo, pictures and information to make this your own. This powerpoint will help you structure any assembly final events.
Safeguarding at Digital Finals - Safeguarding and child protection are our top priority so we have put together this document to go alongside our usual Safeguarding Policy. This lays out the measures we have taken to ensure that our events are safe and successful for everybody involved.
Letter for parents/guardians - this includes everything a parent needs to know before their child attends the workshop
